Sägen-Mehring GmbH is a specialist in saw technology and a manufacturer of high quality saw bands and blades for all types of saw, tools and machinery in the metal working industries and trades. The products are marketed under the brand names RIX Optibohr and Optipress. Sägen-Mehring also maintains one of the largest CNC tool grinding shops in Germany for the repair of cutting tools.

Sägen-Mehring GmbH includes a sister company, Alfred Raith GmbH, who manufactures machinery and tools for drilling, punching, sawing and trimming manufacturing. Sägen-Mehring and Alfred Raith are part of Döring Holding GmbH & Co. KG. The company was founded in 1913 in Dresden.
